Varuna is a research based herbal / ayurvedic health care products’ manufacturing company. Varuna was promoted by Dr Ganga Sahai Pandey, a renowned scholar and practitioner of Ayurveda. He has written many books on Ayurveda and Selection of herbs. These books are now reference books for modern day’s practitioners.Varuna has extended the inherited knowledge by applying scientific standardisation techniques and documentation. Varuna has a modern GMP and ISO 9000 compliant plant to process herbs. We are a research based company with special focus on herbal biotechnology.
Our R&D unit has been recognised by Department of Science & Technology, CSIR, Government of India. We have developed a unique enzymatic processing technique to get good bioactive profiles in the extract or herbs we use in our products.Enzymes DivisionR&D team at Varuna has developed an innovative method of solid state fermentation for production of industrial enzymes. Varuna offers a wide range of enzymes for various industrial / processing applications. Team Varuna does custom production for its clients both in production of basic enzymes of specific activity / temperature / pH profile and in blends of different enzymes. Varuna has its own designed fermentors in place and has a well equipped down stream processing facilities.Team Varuna also offers customs research services in development of enzymes and application based formulations on result / time scaled payment systems.
